Jefferson’s Restaurant coming soon to Rockmart making five locations across Northwest Georgia

  Jefferson’s Restaurant is coming soon to Rockmart. Owner Willie Barnwell plans to open the restaurant in late April or early May at 754 Cartersville Highway, the site of the former Average Joe’s Sports Bar near the Walmart Supercenter. Barnwell also owns the Cedartown location at 901 N. Main St. that opened in July 2015.… Read more

Tickets are still available for the 17th Annual “Night at the Movies” scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 28.  All proceeds benefit the Exchange Club Family Resource Center and its child abuse prevention programs. Fire Investigator Mary Catherine Chewning says the fire was “intentionally set with human involvement”.
